  • Answered around the clock. An outage does not wait for Monday
  • Contracted restore: four hours on Professional, two on Business
  • Service restored first — root cause worked once you are back up
  • No fixed emergency fee quoted before we have seen the site
round the clock incident response queue
The path this interrupts: something breaks then nobody is on call then hours pass then the fix takes 20 minutes.

What to do before you contact us

  1. Write down what changed. An update, a new plugin, a host migration, a certificate renewal, a DNS change. Almost every emergency follows one.
  2. Do not delete anything. On a compromise, the files are how the entry route is found.
  3. Do not restore a backup over the top yet if you can avoid it. It can overwrite the evidence and it often restores the vulnerability too.
  4. Get the hosting login ready. Most of the time lost on an emergency is spent waiting for access.

Most emergencies we attend were preventable, and the report says which. Prevention is tested updates, off-site backups and hardening with daily scanning — the recurring work that makes up WordPress maintenance, priced monthly on maintenance plans and pricing rather than quoted per incident.

How the work runs

  1. Tell us the URL and what changedAlmost every emergency follows a change: an update, a plugin, a host migration, a certificate. Knowing which saves an hour.
  2. TriageIs it the application, the database, the host or DNS? Different problem, different fix, and guessing wastes the time you do not have.
  3. Restore serviceUsually a rollback to the last good state. Getting you back up is not the same job as understanding what happened, and it comes first.
  4. Find the causeLogs, recent changes, resource limits. Restoring without this means the same outage tomorrow.
  5. Fix and hardenThe actual fix, plus whatever stops the repeat.
  6. Write it upWhat broke, why, and what would prevent it. Most emergencies we attend were preventable, and the report says so plainly.

Questions people ask before calling

How fast do you respond?

Outages and active compromises are answered at any hour, nights and weekends included. The contracted numbers are restore times: four hours on Professional, two on Business. Plan support — questions, edits, planned work — is separate and runs in business hours at 48, 24 or 8 hours by tier. Any provider selling 24/7 should be able to draw that same line on request.

Do I have to be a client?

No. One-off emergency work is quoted after triage.

What does emergency work cost?

Quoted once we have seen the site. A locked-out admin and a three-month-old compromise are not the same job and we will not pretend they are.

My site is down but my host says everything is fine.

Common, and usually true from their side — the server is up and the application is failing. That is exactly the gap this covers.

Can you work with my existing developer?

Yes. Often the fastest route is us restoring service while they work the cause.
